If your action plan isn't working, if you lose motivation, don't ask "What's wrong with me?" 

Instead ask yourself the following with neutral curiosity:

  • What supports, systems or changes do I need to put in place to be successful? 
  • Can I make the Cue more obvious? Use your environment to support you
  • Can I make the Action smaller? 
  • Can I make the Reward juicier? 
  • Am I really meeting my deepest Craving, or is there something else that needs to be met for me to be successful?


Tweak and adapt and see how the next experiment goes. 

Always review results, make informed tweaks and run it again, changing only one variable at a time – we’ll get more into the nuances of this soon.
